During his 30-year career at Bank Julius Baer, Heinrich Looser worked as a financial analyst, fund manager, head of investment research and head of private banking. He has been a partner of the R & A Group since 2001 and is a former President of the Swiss Financial Analysts’ Association (SFAA).

Walter Thoma is a graduate of the School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA). Before joining the R & A Group in 2011, he worked for Bank Julius Baer, where he became head of Swiss Private Banking in 1995 and head of Swiss and European Private Banking, and a member of the Private Banking Management Committee, in 1999. From 2000 to 2003, he was head of Private Banking Europe and a member of the Executive Board of Management at Clariden Bank. From 2003 to 2009, Walter Thoma was head of Private Banking and a member of the Group Executive Management Committee of Bank Vontobel.

Otto Waser is Chief Investment Officer and Partner of R & A Group Research & Asset Management. Prior to co-founding R & A Group in 2001, he was Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investment Research at Bank Julius Baer and before that Economist and Treasury Manager at J.P. Morgan. Otto Waser holds an MA in Economics from the University of Zurich.
